Music Tuition Service

The Arts and Technology Department at ATA offer students the opportunity to sign up for private, one to one music and/or drama tuition.

We have a friendly and highly qualified team of visiting music teachers, who specialise in the following instruments:

Voice  Flute  Saxophone  Clarinet
Violin  Viola  Piano  Acoustic guitar
Electric guitar  Bass guitar  Drum-kit

Lessons cost £22 each and last 30 minutes.

Lessons are reserved in 'blocks' of 10 (£220.00 for 10 lessons), and payment is made directly to the visiting music teacher upon your receipt of an invoice. Payment must be made in advance of the lessons and by the date specified on the invoice.

If your child is in receipt of free school meals then you will qualify for a reduction of 75% in lesson costs i.e. £55, rather than £220.00 for a block of 10 lessons.

Terms and Conditions

Our private music tuition service tutors will invoice parents/guardians before the start of lessons and this invoice must be paid before the student receives their first lesson. Please note that once paid for, lessons are non-refundable if the student decides to stop taking lessons.

If your child is having lessons and they wish to stop, parents/guardians must inform the private music teacher in writing, one half term in advance

Students are responsible for informing their teacher if they are going to be absent for a trip or exam, at least one week in advance otherwise the lesson will not be rearranged.

If a student is absent due to illness, the parent or guardian must contact the teacher to inform them, and the lesson will be rearranged.

Students are responsible for turning up to their private music lessons and will not be collected by the peripatetic teacher from their academic lessons. Students can find lessons times on the board outside the Performing Arts office, and on ShowMyHomework.

If you wish to proceed and arrange lessons for your/son daughter, or if you have further questions, please complete the form below. All forms are sent to Ms Di Bartolo - Curriculum Manager for the Arts and Technology.
