Results

In 2026, our students achieved a record set of A-Level and International Baccalaureate results. We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements, and our results are testament to the hard work and commitment of our students and staff.   Students taking all programmes of study in the Sixth Form perform substantially above local and national averages. 

90% of our Year 13 students progressed to straight university, which includes over 73% securing places at Russell Group universities and approaching 10% to Oxbridge or to study Medicine/Dentistry. Our progression rate to top universities in the US and elsewhere, such as NYU Abu Dhabi, as well as competitive degree apprenticeships with companies such as Amazon, is also very pleasing. We are also delighted that a number of the students who have opted to take a gap year and progress to university next year have taken positions in the Academy and are now working to help current Ashcroft students achieve their very best.

The most recent Department for Education data available shows that in 2025, the Ashcroft Sixth Form results were within the top 3.6% of 2380 state schools and Sixth Forms in the UK for student attainment.

In 2026:

Over 40% of students achieved AAA / 38 points or higher.

The modal set of IB results was 43 points

The most common university students progressed to was University College London

The next most common university students progressed to was King’s College London

46% of students progressed to Arts/Humanities courses and 54% progressed to STEM courses.
