Ashcroft Technology Academy is one of the highest-performing schools in the country. The Academy was judged to be Exceptional by Ofsted in December 2025 for achievement, curriculum and teaching, behaviour and attendance, Sixth Form and leadership and governance, as well as meeting the strong standard in both inclusion and personal development and wellbeing. With a Progress 8 score of +1.34 (2024), Attainment 8 score of 66.3 (2025) and the highest attendance nationally, we offer an exceptional environment in which both students and staff flourish.

Outstanding Professional Development
Staff benefit from our flagship Breakfast PD programme, allowing teachers to be reflective practitioners, scrutinising their own practice in a very granular way, and then constantly seeking to develop their pedagogy. Alongside Breakfast PD, we offer termly PD days and subject-specific training. Our Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme is designed and delivered by staff within the Academy to ensure that early career teachers not only meet the teaching standards but are supported in their development as an "Ashcroft teacher". For experienced teachers joining the Academy, we offer structured leadership development pathways from middle leadership to SLT, and mentoring systems that ensure new staff feel supported, confident, and valued.
A High-Performing, Well-Resourced School
Ashcroft is consistently among the top schools nationally for student progress. The school is oversubscribed, with six applicants for every Year 7 place. Our thriving Sixth Form offers both A-Level and International Baccalaureate pathways, and it has the strongest A-Level performance record in Wandsworth for nine consecutive years and has been named the Times International Baccalaureate school of the year for attainment in 2024 and in 2025. Purpose-built facilities and well-equipped classrooms support high-quality teaching across all subjects.
