Prospective Sixth Form Students

We would like to invite you to one of our Sixth Form Open Events to find out more about us. In 2026, almost 10% of our Year 13 students progressed to Oxbridge or Medical School, while 72% of students continuing their studies in the UK progressed to Russell Group universities. The modal set of results was A*AA, and with an average IB score of 40 points, we receive the annual award of IB State School of the Year for academic achievement.

Our Sixth Form open evening is on Tuesday 06 October 2026 between 18:00 – 20:00.

Please arrive by 18:00 for presentations by the Head Student Team, Principal and Head of Sixth Form.

At the Open Evening you will have the opportunity to tour the Academy and to discuss all aspects of Sixth Form life with teachers and students. Tours will take place in small groups, led by current students, lasting around 30 minutes.

Opening Mornings for September 2027 intake: Wednesday 07 and Thursday 08 October 2026 09.00 – 10.30

Visitors will be met by the Head of Sixth Form and will have the opportunity to visit Sixth Form lessons and the Sixth Form Centre. Tours will be led by senior staff and current Sixth Form students, providing an opportunity for informal questions and answers during the tours. Please note that admission to the Open Mornings are only available to those who have booked in advance.
