Our Guest of Honour, Charlie Walker presented the prizes to glowing smiles and warm applause which filled the auditorium as students who are now in Years 8 - 10, received certificates and gift vouchers for achievement or effort whilst students now in Years 11-12 received certificates and gift vouchers for outstanding work in specific subjects throughout the last academic year. As always the highlight of the evening is the award of numerous cups and shields to high achievers for outstanding success within individual subjects and also in response to community work in the Academy. Mr Roberts cited the achievements of the cup winners which added a more personal touch to the evening.
