During the day, the students engaged in several interactive group activities including 3D printing, metrology, virtual reality, ATLAS, a mock Mars landscape where the EXOMars rovers are tested before their journey across the surface of Mars, a thermal engineering for space challenge, wind turbines and cryogenics. This a was fun and valuable enrichment opportunity and our students have returned even more inspired with Science, with several considering related future education and career pathways.
