A levels
A levels are available in a range of academic and vocational subjects. The first half of the A level, AS, is taken in year 12, and the second half, A2, is taken in year 13. Students normally take four AS subjects in year 12 and continue with three at A2 level in year 13.
How will you know if A levels are for you?
A levels have provided the traditional route to higher education for the past forty years. Success in A levels shows ability and aptitude in certain subject areas. You should check the entry requirements for degree courses to ensure your choice of A levels matches your needs, abilities and aspirations.
