Curriculum Manager for MFL (TLR 1a £7,323)
Salary fully negotiable on the Inner London scale, including an additional Ashcroft Technology Academy Allowance (£1,350). An additional recruitment incentive may be considered for exceptional candidates. An attendance bonus, up to 2% of pay, is also available. Relocation expenses are available if appropriate.
Required for September 2012, an outstanding teacher of French to lead our Modern Languages department. The successful candidate will have high expectations, enthusiasm and a track record of developing excellent practice and improving outcomes for students in Languages. He or she will provide inspirational leadership to a large, forward-looking team and will be instrumental in providing the best learning experiences for all students of all abilities in Modern Languages thus ensuring that students continue to study Languages at A level or International Baccalaureate in our 6th Form. He or she will also have the opportunity to develop our Spanish offer and our extra-curricular program for foreign travel. This post would be excellent preparation for future progression.

Teacher of Drama

Applications are invited for a well-qualified teacher of Drama to start from September 2012. This is an excellent opportunity as the Performing Arts department enjoys superb facilities for the delivery of Drama, Music and Dance The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated professionals to contribute to the development of one of the popular subject areas across all key stages. Experience of teaching BTEC qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential. The salary offered will be negotiated to reflect the calibre of the applicants appointed. This post will be of interest both to experienced and newly qualified teachers.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and skilled mathematician, to join a highly motivated and very successful team of Mathematics teachers from September 2012. The department has produced impressive GCSE and 'A' Level results in recent years and the Academy will look to the appointed person to play a key role in both continuing and building upon this success. There will also be the opportunity to teach A Level or IB Mathematics for suitably qualified candidates. The post is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
