We were delighted to welcome Echo Freer, an author of teenage fiction, who came along this week to talk to Year 7 students in their English lessons.
It was big, bold, loud and a blast of fresh air, just what we needed to cheer us after a very cold winter.

Tickets for Hairspray are quickly selling out - especially Friday’s performance, so make sure you buy some early next week to avoid disappointment. The rehearsals look fantastic and staff have worked hard at the sewing machine making amazing costumes. Don’t miss out!
On Wednesday in English, 28 students took part in the Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge, which is a national public speaking competition. The students spent the day in work shops learning skills needed when addressing large audiences.
